Custom Hearse Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Mine was just a drab yellow box with wheels... http://autos.yahoo.com/news/back-school-blues-superbus-lighten-mood-w-video-135816471.html
Harry P. Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 I know it's just a "what if," but in reality a vehicle like that would never be used as a bus or commercial vehicle. Way too many doors... too much wear and tear on the individual doors, too expensive to manufacture and to keep all those doors working over time. A design like that, with an individual door for every seat, would never make production. Maybe a fun concept, but nowhere even close to reality. There's a reason why a bus has a central aisle and only one or two doors.
Greg Myers Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 (edited) Worked quite well on the British rail system Edited August 31, 2013 by Greg Myers
ToyLvr Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 I think "Checker" was on to this idea about 50 years ago.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Checker_Taxi.JPG Still, I like this new one....

pharoah Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 C'mon kids, time for school! Your limo's here! Yeah,it's nice, but not in this country. Around here, they can't decide to put seat belts on a bus. Or who's going to pat for it.

Dave Ambrose Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I see they're running it on a very flat runway. Low clearance, and long wheelbase make for unpleasant scraping noises beneath the middle passengers.

Low clearance, and long wheelbase make for unpleasant scraping noises beneath the middle passengers. I happen to like that dragging sound...along with the resulting spark shower. JK You know a mini trucker had to rib ya on that one. This is one cool ride. I wish they had they back in my day.
