NALEX129 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Here it is guys, the second model I build. I tried to go a little custom here; painted the chrome white and lowered it. I put the bed together after I painted (rookie mistake) and couldn't have it lined perfectly with the body. Oh well I guess I am gonna have to build another Cameo and do it the right way.
peter31a Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Looks pretty good for only your second build. I like the white chrome, it accents well with the green.
Tom Geiger Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 You did good Anarldo! The pickup looks great. Soooo what's your next model going to be? And BTW, your avatar picture makes me dizzy
NALEX129 Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 Thanks guys! I just bought a Monogram '66 Shelby GT350. Thinking about a stock build and maybe have JDM wheels on it, like Volk te37.
Chris White Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 really clean build. Love your wheel and colour choice
Skydime Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) Ah ha! Found it! I didn't realize it went Under Glass over the weekend...probably cause that's about the only time I am not on. Anyway, lookin' good man. Don't worry about the "rookie mistakes" as you call them. Just keep on learning as you go. Trust me, I have been building models for over 30 years and I still make plenty of mistakes. We all make them. Some are just going to be slips where we already know better and some are going to teach us better for the future. Edited September 4, 2013 by Skydime

As you hone your skills it's always nice to go back to your first models and see how your skills have grown! I still have all the models I've built since I got back to the hobby as an adult.
