spotarama Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 (edited) built box stock, sorry can't remember what year it is. its a few years since i built it and i don't keep boxes ot instruction sheets ( i did for years but they were starting to take up more room than my unbuilt kits) paint is rattlecan white and blue, nothing too trick but no weathering as i wanted this to look like it had just rolled out of the workshop for its first race Edited September 3, 2013 by spotarama
rickcaps55 Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Very nice build but why did you call it a 60,s Pontiac stocker it's a 65 Oldsmobile 88. That's one of the kits that AMT destroyed the stock version of to make the stock car line up I would love to see that one come back as a 3 in 1.
bbowser Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Nice job! Pretty fancy induction system for a Saturday night dirt tracker though
spotarama Posted September 4, 2013 Author Posted September 4, 2013 Very nice build but why did you call it a 60,s Pontiac stocker it's a 65 Oldsmobile 88. oops, like i said at the top, i wasn't sure what year it was and i also assumed it was a pontiac cos it came with the pontiac dealership decals that are on the roof. hope no offence was caused to devotees of the respective supporters
ChrisBcritter Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Dumb question, probably, but did real Modified Stockers ever run with tires like these? Or was AMT just using what they had available? I built almost all of these when I was a kid but I always wondered about the tires.
