The AMT W900 kit was not modified when the T600 was made. AMT simply utilized existing components of the W900 kit to work with the newer T600 parts. All the W900 parts in the T600 kit are untouched from their original form. All that would need to be done is to find the molds for the cab, hood, sleeper and interior parts (in conjunction with the W900 parts found in the T600 kit) to bring the W900 back. The Alaskan Hauler was made in the same fashion as the T600. They used a lot of parts from the W900 and added new parts to create a "new" truck.

Does anybody know if round 2 is going to do some of the kenworth kits again. Are the molds really destroyed,or is this just an urban myth?.Would love to see them again,I remember when they were 4.99 at the local Kmart, think I paid 5.99 for the big mixer kit. Harvey

It would be nice to ser the Kenworth kits again. Even if it is the T600.

Surely AMT most wanted 1/25th truck kit, a bit more work to do: to get this one on the shelves, but with Round2...possible.

$5.99 for the H&H "Alaskan" KW at local K-Mart back in fall of 1977 (remember seeing & buying this "new" kit back then).

Alaskan Hauler uses 98% of the parts from the W925 kit that had the tool highly modified by Ertl to create the T600. Round2 would have to repair the tool or retool several parts to make the kit viable again.
