I've always called them wing windows too Carl. I usually install my windows with a pair of hemostats. I have a couple of sets that are spring loaded too. They'll hold the parts themselves until you get it in place. Then, you just squeeze them to release the part.

Carl I usually use either Elmers glue or clear enamel to glue in the vent window after putting it in place using a tweezer. Sometimes you have to apply some pressure with your thumb and forefinger to get the glass to seat properly, but don't apply the glue (using a toothpick) until after you get the piece in place.

Another idea would be to use a toothpick or the like with a bit of sticky tack on the end (blue plyable compound to hang pics or posters with) and then apply your adhesive.

I sometimes use a small slice of tape and tape them down where I want them and then use Krystal Klear to fix them into place. Remove tape ( I use the blue stuff ) carefully.

Finger(s) to get the glass in place, masking to hold it in place from the outside, canopy glue, Krystal Klear, or Testors clear glue to hold in place from the inside. Let the glue set up for 10 - 15 minutes and slowly pull the tape off the outside.

You must be too young to remember wing windows, Carl. Instead of AC, we'd turn the window all the way around so it would catch air and blow it into the car.
