NYLIBUD Posted yesterday at 04:42 AM Posted yesterday at 04:42 AM I had to send a bunch of paperwork to a title company following my car accident, which totaled my car.So the title company sends me a few forms that needed to be notarized, along with a large envelope and two FEDEX labels.I was told by the company to put the label of the title company in the clear plastic window in the envelope,Then I was told to put my return label somewhere on the envelope. So I put it on the front.Had everything signed and notarized, then dropped it off at a Fed ex drop box.Im thinking ok,they should receive the paperwork in the next day or so.Well today,I walk outside and sitting on my porch is the delivered envelope. In other words, despite following the instructions,,the morons at Fed ex delivered the sealed envelope to my house.Even though my return label said “sender”.So FedEx just assumed it was being shipped to me.I mean why would they ship it right back to me,and not the title company?🤬🤬😤Welp I called FedEx to see what happened.I was told I have to get another envelope, then to put my return label inside a new envelope, along with the paperwork. Then put the label to go to the title company on the outside of the new envelope.Luckily I made copies of the labels in case of any problems…I’ve come to the conclusion that Fed Ex SUCKS!!!!!!!! 1

Blame a failed "education" system that produces graduates with poor reading-comprehension and critical-thinking skills, and a culture that accepts constant distraction by "smart phone" rather than focus on the task at hand. If properly trained and implemented , AI should be good at reducing the frequency of this particular kind of problem, but it's disturbing we now feel the need to rely on machines to do something so simple correctly. 1

No lost time accidents meant "cleaning house"!

TonyK Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Less than 3 hours sleep last night. Happens every now and then for no reason. Wake up and lie there for an hour or so and then decide to get up because I ain't going back to sleep. One of the dogs even came up and cuddled against me which usually puts me back to sleep but it didn't work this time. Now I get to feel like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH all day but I'll make it. 1 1
bobss396 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago This is my 1st time here. I'm generally happy and positive. Last night was our monthly model car club meeting. I get there 5 minutes early, the place is dark and everyone is standing outside. Usually the person from the county that opens and closes is there early or at 7 pm at the latest. Last night, nobody ever came. We stood around shooting the breeze, I left at 7:45. Somebody thought that they had the facility contact number in their phone, but they didn't. On the way home, I called my girlfriend and told her what happened. I think she was madder than everyone else combined. She is supportive of the hobby and knew I spent most of the day getting ready with my projects, food for the facility pantry, things I bring in for the other guys. 3

What you might want to do is put everything in an envelope and use the US Post Office instead.
