Guest Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 The original Tony Stewart thread that was locked was also deleted yesterday as well.
Austin T Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 The original Tony Stewart thread that was locked was also deleted yesterday as well. To be fair that thread was destined to be locked, deleted, and buried from the start. It was created in fit of emotional instability based on what the OP posted it derailed any chance of a real conversation to take place, it deserved to go. As for the other threads those should still be here, no rules were broken at any point in time.
Guest Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 The threads where were all trying to figure out what the thing was with Greg, you've posted in both of them. Exactly
Harry P. Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Gregg deleted the Gregg threads because they are a bunch of nothing. He's still here, nothing has changed. That whole "what happened to Gregg" thing is a big stir about nothing.
Harry P. Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 The original Tony Stewart thread that was locked was also deleted yesterday as well. I deleted that because I got tired of editing out all the personal attacks posted by people against each other. The thread had deteriorated into a playground shouting match and I just got tired of babysitting you guys.

Harry P. Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Then why doesn't he come out and say so? Why are you asking me that? You did the edits and locked it on Sunday night. It got deleted yesterday Must have been Gregg, I guess he figured no point in keeping a locked thread up.
Harry P. Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 You did the edits and locked it on Sunday night. It got deleted yesterday The tag says "Topic hidden by Gregg yesterday, 2:33 PM. No reason given."
southpier Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 I'm irked at the references to "math" when it's actually arithmetic. they are different. (and nothing to do with metric)
Guest Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 I think I can hear the Go Go's singing..."Our lips are sealed, Ya Ya Ya Our lips are sealed".... Must be the radio playing too loud again...
Harry P. Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Mathematics is the overall "umbrella." Arithmetic is just one branch of math. Mathematics is theory, arithmetic is numbers... addition, subtraction, dividing and multiplying.

Harry P. Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Austin, if Danno's wise-guy remark caused you any emotional instability, I'd sue. I can recommend a really sharp outfit... the law firm of Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe. Just call BR-549 and tell them I sent you...

Ace-Garageguy Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 (edited) The 6 liter L-96 Vortec-powered '47 Caddy convertible I'm building just gets more and more horrible, the deeper I get into it. Yeah, I should be tickled pink that this one car is job security for at least a year, assuming the owner's millions hold out, but geez...It gets SO frustrating to have to rework EVERYTHING because several "car builders" (this thing has been in multiple "professional shops" before it came to us) with absolutely NO CLUE of how to do anything (other than burn "billable hours"...kinda like some lawyers I've known) have been in it first. EVERY SINGLE THING that has ever been done to this car, EVERYTHING, is WRONG, boogered, bodged, slipshod, or just plain STUPID. I don't know how some of these clowns stay in business, but I DO know why most folks assume hot-rods or customs are un-reliable and un-drivable. Edited August 15, 2014 by Ace-Garageguy
Austin T Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 "Emotional instability?" Which medical school did you attend, Doctor T? Wasn't the title something like "The lowest scum on the earth", that sounds like a rash statement made by someone fueled by emotion. Nuff said.
Guest Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Wasn't the title something like "The lowest scum on the earth", that sounds like a rash statement made by someone fueled by emotion. Nuff said. That doesn't make someone emotionally unstable! And I myself wish Gregg would speak for himself.
Tom Geiger Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Wasn't the title something like "The lowest scum on the earth", that sounds like a rash statement made by someone fueled by emotion. Nuff said. Yea, that kinda sets the tone for a thread! Once I saw that I never bothered to open and read it. I saw it was going down that crooked road to no good real fast!

Belugawrx Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 I'm irked at the references to "math" when it's actually arithmetic. Arithmetic is spelled out fully Math ..you have to figure out

Danno Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Wasn't the title something like "The lowest scum on the earth", that sounds like a rash statement made by someone fueled by emotion. Nuff said. Being fueled by emotion is not evidence of instability. Rash statements are not evidence of instability. Many people would consider your blanket statement to be 'rash.' Does that mean you are necessarily unstable emotionally?
Danno Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 ERGO: All arithmetic is math. Not all math is arithmetic. But it all sounds so emotionally unstable.
