Mrdarkmonkey96 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Well the weathers starting to become less lacquer friendly so I'm scrambling to finish these last three Camaro for my father (might keep it ) The color is scale finishes candy apple red, and the stripe is just the mettalic base masked off. Two coats duplicolor paint shop clear coat airbrushed, wetsanded with 2000 in between, gonna put down two more tomorrow. Duplicolor candy orange 41 willys. One more coat orange candy then time for clear. Grabber blue mustang gt with one coat pearlescent clear and rustoleum clear on top Tried the overspray look on the chassis http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag38/icedragon481/20130918_234033_zps6fae0990.jpg
charlie8575 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Some very nice color choices. Try sanding off the copyright notices on the chassis, or remove them with an X-Acto or Excel chisel balde in your hobby knife. It makes for a nicer looking finished product. Charlie Larkin
slusher Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 All are real nice colors. Very nice paint work also...
