dimaxion Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 This kit is a Drag Racer . I see no negative statements about Speed City Resin Casters here or antwhere . Thanx ..
caine440 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I am a big fan of Speed City. Really nice castings. I have not build the Marlin but have built some of the AWB Mopars they sell.
scaleautobuilder Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I have the kit you are talking about, Its a great kit, very clean and the casting is great, I've never had any issues with anything I've picked up from them.

Sportabout Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 (edited) I have purchased it and decals but not built yet. Some pictures of this kit with original Jo-han Marlin. Popular hot rodding 10/65 had 6 page article of Bill Kraft Rambler. Specs: - 426 Hemi with hillborn fuel injection, 640 hp - Jardine headers - torqueflite automatic transmission - Marlin radiator and moon tank - narrowed Pontiac '57 4.50 rear with coil springs but no shocks - '56 olds trailing arms - straight front axle with quarter elliptic springs - Cragar wheels - Gates front tires, 10:00x15 M&H rear - Floor shifter with Marlin console - bucket seat, plexi-glass and cage type roll bars - 12 foot Carter cross-form chute - front wheels has moved 4" and rear wheels 11" ahead I have collected most of these parts from different kits. Front tires, headers and trailing arms are still missing. Sorry abot this episode but I'm very excited of the kit. Very nice casting but needs a lot of extra parts and work to complete. Truck parts Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 I like to hear the good stuff or bad about the suppliers. The kit looks great.
PlasticWagens Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Have purchased about 10 bodies over the years from Speed City and have never had one issue. Clean pours and great people.
