Revell 32 Ford Sedan wip update 10-2-13

Next build will be this kit. It will be done as the fenderless highboy. I will use the flathead enging. I also plan to use the wire wheels but dechromed and painted. Not sure of any colors at this point. Will be lowered as shown in one of the past Model Cars magazine.

Made some progress. Tamiya silver with dullcoat over that. Red interior and red wire wheels.

The strobe stripe looks really out of character on this car. Just my .02 and offered as constructive criticism ...

I tend to agree with you about the stripe. Was just trying to add some color to the slab side.

the gold color is because its on a yellow surface thats a mind trick

I see nothing wrong with it! Nice paint work and I think that stripe really fits into this one. A bit different, but cool. Nothing wrong with the tires, either. The contrast of Red/Silver has always worked nicely on my eye, I really like this one. Only thing I'd suggest...More photos, please.
