A great car mag

I found this mag at a local shop and I am very impressed with it. The title is Rolls and Pleats. It is the size of the old little pages mags.

I don't know much about the history of it but it has just what I like. It is all photos of the cars and none of the tattoos and artwork etc that dominates most of the other mags. I'm alright with some of that , but I buy a car mag for cars.

The guy at the store says that they are not very regular in circulation and I went on their website (WWW.rollsandpleats.com) and they are pretty expensive. So I will probably stick with buying them at his shop.

The magazine has been around for quite some time, and distribution is spotty, to say the least. It's well done, but somewhat erratic in terms of regular publication intervals.

That plagues several magazines that I know of.

I thought the same- with the exception of some issues that will have a couple great articles. But this mag is exceptional, IMO. The guy at the shop has a selection of quite a few issues of Rolls and Pleats. I'm on my way to pick up another tonight and am planning on getting one of each that he has, as I can.
