monster Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Hello This is my last diorama. It is a small dark alley with a nightclub at the end! I still have some details to do!!! ERIC

Tom Geiger Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Early photo before weathering Current look after weathering Eric- Everything about your diorama is superb except that your air conditioner stands out. It just doesn't look right. I can see that you used the same screen that you used on the railing on it. Take a look at the pictures above for some ideas. The sides of this air conditioner are the side panels from either a Model A or T kit, that I cut to size. That gave me louvers. The front of the unit is a radiator from some unknown kit, cut to size also. I was just using the parts from old kits for the correct patterns. I hope this helps!
Sixties Sam Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Very cool! The trash bags are a great touch! Sam
Ramfins59 Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Great looking back alley Diorama. Very realistic with the trash and graffiti. Besides the guy holding the beer, maybe you should add an old Wino laying on the ground, and don't forget an alley cat...LOL.
charlie8575 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Very nice work. I agree with Tom, unless your intent is to represent a new a/c, you should probably get it a little dirtier. Charlie Larkin
