I totally accept your opinion on the white hoods which were supposed to be common feature of both cars, but the outcome really may seem unfinished. I was basically satisfied with the models before, but now I'm really thinking about painting the hood of the Cameo metallic brown, just to see the difference

I understand that the white hoods may be a local styling trend, in fact I've seen that another current European style is rusted hoods paired with large roof racks. No accounting for taste as they say . Actually, I think the cameo looks fine this way but the 'vette is another story. Also, the panel lines on the Corvette are a little heavy. Maybe you could touch them up with some thinned down body color paint to make it a little more subtle without losing the effect entirely.

Would you care to share anything regarding that please? You seem to have a perfect fit with the glass in your truck.

What no one else seem to pick up on is that the Corvette was introduced in 1953 and was available only in white. The first V-8 Corvette was 1955.
