Noisy one gets more attention than you can imagine. She just like to talk like most females. : ) Oh no I didn't !

Sorry to hear about Jerry's fate. But I know how you feel. I've had Xerxes since the day he was born. His mother was a neighbor's cat that stayed at my house all day and then would go home at night. She gave birth in the bushes behind my garage and that's where I found her with the six new kittens. The other five found homes elsewhere after they'd all been weaned. Those ten weeks or so with all the kittens around were a blast. Two siblings lived at the neighbor's for a couple of years and they'd come over every day to play with Xerxes and to take naps.

My other cat, Bella, was a rescue kitty. She was out on the road in front of my house trying to cross it but her hind legs didn't work and she kept falling down, which is what caught my attention when I went to close the drapes and happened to see her. She was between two and three months old then and now she's nearly two years old. She regained the use of her legs pretty quickly but control over, ahem, bodily functions took longer. And I'm glad every day that I found her and that she's part of the household.

I think we're just seeing how far we can stray off topic before a moderator shuts it down! :)

How can you stray off topic in the Off Topic lounge?

Everything here is off topic!

I'm sorry, Tom, but that's the single ugliest cat I've ever seen.

ted_toilet-vi.jpg

Since we're sharing cat photos... my good friend Ted was under the weather earlier this week. He's now back to his old self and sleeping comfortably on the couch as I type this.

And before someone calls FOUL! on my post, Ted is an important model car hobby personality. That is HIM on the Model King box!

umm, and why is the cat/dog/human cowering behind the toilet? If he is trying to potty- he missed, trying to throw up- missed, drinking- yuck.

Animals and toilets, the #1 reason to me not to have a pet in the house....and my wife just brought a puppy into the home. Now I will get attached to something that will ultimatley drive me nuts. Granted, not a long drive, but....

I put all my models and their parts into plastic shoe storage tubs then cut one end off the box top and stick it in there so I can see whats in the tub without having to open it and throw the rest of the box away. My dogs LOVE cats. They find them very tasty!

Shelby likes the peddle car I found in the trash.....

I wish our trash was that exciting! What was that doing in there? Did it come from another dimension? It reminds me of the Stephen King novel 'From a Buick 8', I hope the cat is still OK.
