Bought this car as a quick build while waiting for some wood look decals for another project. This is a very simple kit, very simple. I think there is less than 60 pieces total. Curbside kit with no engine and just a one piece chassis with molded detail. Tires and wheels seem too small so I may replace them. Detail on the wire wheels is not too good but they do look better with a black wash.

Body looks pretty good. The body is about the thinest plastic I think I ever saw in my 50 + years of building. In fact it cracked when I was taping off the roof to paint it black.

That TBird body looks pretty nice. I have the '66 Impala (really a '65} and the '66 Deville. Same way, great bodies, short on interior chassis details.

The wheels do look better with wash. The 1965 Buick Riviera has the best spoke/wire wheels. The 62 T-bird are not bad either. Great year and subject Ray looking forward to see what you do with it...

Maybe if it's way too thin, you could do a junkyard build with lots of Rust, Damage & Dirt!

Thin plastic would be easy to tear up to look damaged and the torn body parts would look better in thin plastic. Just an idea... B)

I have the original of this, the Caddy & Wildcat.

I got lucky in having a Spare Jo-Han Ambulance Dash.

NO engraving on the kit piece at all!!

Chassis are generic to ALL of the series, the hubcaps, and the interior upholstery pattern

Only difference is rear package shelf!

I do like the Stock BF Goodrich tires with White-stripe inserts!!

At least this one has the roof cast with the body.

I had fit issues with the 3 AMT's I have built so far, so left them Convertibles

You are so right about the dash. The front is completely flat and relies on only the decal to provide any detail.

AMT's kit dash should fit. Or can be adapted to fit!!

That is the plan when I do my copy of this kit.

Not sure on the Wildcat.

I would like to find a Different style dash than th e"Twin Pod" unit

in th eAMT 65 & 66's!!

My dad had a 65 Wildcat, and it had the Rectangular Speedometer. NO 'Twin-Pods'!!

Also, it had a split Bench with Fold down Armrest!!

black over Silver with black interior. And YES, It Got HOT in that thing in Summer!!!!

Wish I had it now. 455 V8. But he Threw/damaged the Drive shaft Several times.!

They definitely did not use a good grade steel on it!!!

It was Not strong enough for the engine

Yes, the AMT 65 body is a Match to his 2dr Sportcoupe (fastback)

Don't have one of the other bodies to compare it to so I can't really answer that. I put the decals on today, what a pain. Even with Solveset the large one on the hood did not want to settle down as good as I would have liked. Shot it with clear today also. Will try and post some photo's tomorrow.

Wow Carl. Someone wants almost 50 bucks for this kit ? Not worth anything close to that in my opinion. Not much to it. 52 parts or so. No engine and just a chassis with molded detail.
