Skydime Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I found a resin hood that I want for a 66 Nova. It is on ebay and I was just wandering if anyone had any experience with this seller or particular piece that they sell. Please let me know of personal experiences either way. Although, I would prefer to keep any negative responses somewhat civil. Thanks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Resin-2-Cowl-Hood-for-AMT-66-Nova-1-25-NEW-HOT-/110672300511?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item19c49549df
Deano Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 No experience with that caster but ... if you look closely at his 66 Nova hood either his camera or my eyes are out of whack OR the center character line of that hood is not straight.
crazyjim Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Never heard of Lex's. Why not just make your own from the kit hood?
cobraman Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 He has perfect feedback. If it's what you want I would get it.
Teds57 Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Lex has some amazing stuff I have several of his hoods and he does great work
Rob McKee Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 I also have ordered hoods from Lex and have never had any issues.

Skydime Posted October 28, 2013 Author Posted October 28, 2013 (edited) Never heard of Lex's. Why not just make your own from the kit hood? LOL, I've tried and tried and I just haven't gotten making cowls down pat. Maybe one of these days. Edited October 28, 2013 by Skydime
mademan Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Ive got a few of his hoods.... most have been great, however the grand national ones that I got are ill fitting and warped. Contacted for a replacement, and never got a reply.
Steven Zimmerman Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Race Motor replicas also offers a low cowl induction hood for the AMT 66 Nova.
Skydime Posted November 1, 2013 Author Posted November 1, 2013 (edited) Thanks for all the responses everyone. Looks like this dealer has a bit of a following within our own MCM community. Edited November 1, 2013 by Skydime
