Well with my recent unemployment I have found myself with A LOT of time on my hands.

So after a Testors M3 slump buster I grabbed the Revell 49 Merc originally intended for a group build like three years ago. Real life happened then too.

As much as I hate the "wheels and body" mock ups this does show the Pegasus wheels I picked out. At this point I had already done most of the suspension and floor work as well.

Above mentioned suspension and floor work. Rear end narrowed, fuel tank relo, wells tubbed etc.

The floor with everything cut out.

The spillage of Ross Gibson engine parts that will make up the 454 big block going in… I REALLY wanted the hilborne fuel injection look.

I have gotten a way down the road from here but need to shoot some more pictures. More to come

Some very nice work Dave, I like the wheel choice, one thing I do see though, I would sand off the Trademark on the chassis between the rear wheel wells( just my opinion), keep up the great work!! :D

Looking good Dave, sorry to hear of your unemployment, I too recently became unemployed myself. I thought I would get more building done but it hasn't happened yet. Keep posting.

thanks all!

Pappy… I did sand off the ™ logo when I did the body filler and put in the new floor pieces. It's hard to see with the suspension in the way. I'll have some completed under carriage pictures tonight hopefully
