Model build of a Lincoln in big scale

Here is a link to the AACA Forums. Talk about dedication to a craft. This build is all scratch built from copper, brass and other materials. I am amazed at it. You might want to go to the beginning as I linked 30 pages after the first post.

Yes, he's an amazing craftsman and modeling engineer. You can find a little more detail on the Lincoln at scalemotorcars.com. This link started when he was already 2 years into it (over a year ago). He's up to 54 pages and probably has another year or two to go.

This guy out-Wingroves Wingrove. His Toronado and Avanti are the most spectacular models I've ever seen. Actually I've only seen photos but hope I get to see them here sometime.

Hemmings Daily just did an article on this Lincoln build. Roger says the build will probably take 10 years in all.

Yeah the guys over there are insane. Scratch Built 1/8 Gt40, all brass scratch built Ford Model A, crazy stuff. There is a guy on another forum building a 1/8 Porsche Moby Dick completely 110% from scratch all from styrene stock.

I am a long time member of the AACA and have followed this build for some time. I respectfully suggest that Roger is the best model builder alive today...perhaps ever. We are all hackers in comparison.
