A little progress on the Bee which is that I have applied the rear strip decal but disappointed with the decals that come with this kit because I was wanting to use the C strips that go along the sides of the rear quarter panels but as soon as they where put in the water for about 30 seconds they just broke apart as they came off the paper.

Next step will be to clear it this weekend.

I've had the same problem with my Bee last month.

I took a second decal sheet from my other kit, applied some decal bonder over the decal and the problem was solved.

By the way i have the C-stripe decal in spare, if you're interested i will send it to you for free, i want to see this build completed so much!!

Let me know if you're interested...

I have been watching this for a while, too bad about dropping it but I think it was a blessing cause I really like the new color. I know everyone hates to do work twice, but I think it paid off. where did the braking system come from? I have 3 bee's going right now. also, Seth and Michel, I have a good supply of the super bee decals, if you guys are in need, you can PM me.

keep going, give me motivation to get mine back on the bench.

Guys thank you for offering the decals its really appreciated but I already have applied the strip on the back after the c strips disintegrated. So I got an idea that I might cut out the bee's from the white c strips and apply those on the sides of the black strip that comes down the sides of the rear quarter panels.

Does that make sense ? and what do think yes or no ?

well your welcome. I don't finish any builds, might as well help someone finish theirs. as far as the stripes go, makes total sense to me. don't see too many bumble bee stripes on the 70's, I think it would look cool. I swear they made (could have been an older issue) a bumble bee stripe with the bee logo in there? hmmmmm , makes me wonder.

Yes they make they bumble strip but in the kit decals it is only on the white strip not the black and that is the strip i used since it goes better with the green.

Well I have applied the Super Bee decals to the rear strip on the tail end of the Coronet & they look pretty good so after they cure I will shoot some clear on the body tomorrow then some pictures.

Was able to get a couple of coats of clear on today ! So I will let it gas out for about a week then rub it out. May work on assembling the engine tonight & figure out where to run the fuel lines.

Was able to get the distributor cap & plug wires installed & was able to get the fuel line junctions made & scratch built the fuel pressure regulator so hopefully tomorrow evening I can get the fuel lines ran & the regulator installed.

Was able to get the front fuel lines assembled with the fuel pressure regulator & installed to the fuel rails. Then started on the rear assembly of the fuel junction and one fuel line installed to it and will finish that up tomorrow night & will have pictures when engine is finished.

Worked on the fuel system today which Is installed except for the fuel line that needs to feed the fuel pressure regulator which I will do after the glue drys.I should have installed it when I installed the regulator to the front fuel lines & the headers are on. I also have the rear brake line installed with the 3 way fitting for the soft line which all of these parts I have scratch built except for the brake hard line which is bead wire.
More updates to come!
