Southern Fried Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Originally had aimed at doing this simple build in under 4 nights, 3 hours per night, and finish a car. Now looking at another night to finish up. More time was spent "parts hunting" than I had figured on. Had to fight off that "add more " demon several times. Anyway, at this point now. Gotta finish the Caddy by adding the oil filler tube, magneto, wires, intake, etc. Still considering ditching the carbs for some better ones I have. Not really satisfied with the Crager SS but couldn't get steely's to look right and didn't want to burn a set of American 5 spokes. Cragers came out in '65, so I guess I could still "date" this one as being parked in '66-'67.
southpier Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 looks great. always been a fan of the sleeper.
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Very nice job of weathering, and of shoe-horning that big Caddy that little engine bay.
