Custom Hearse Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Just released pics from the next Transformers movie...
Skydime Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Yeah, Im interested in how this is going to play out.
High octane Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Those aren't "bumble bee" stripes on the late model. Try again.
Erik Smith Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Bumblebee refers to the Transformer character, not associated with stripes - Chrysler or insect. He, or it, had racing stripes in one incarnation.
Custom Hearse Posted November 30, 2013 Author Posted November 30, 2013 Those aren't "bumble bee" stripes on the late model. Try again. I don't work for the movie company, I just posted the pics that they released... Other cars to be used in the movie:
BluePopsicle Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I don't know about the newer Camaro, but there are a number of reports of Bumblebee taking the form of a 60's era Camaro for the new Transformers movie.
Greg Cullinan Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Looks good to me. I was into transformers as a youth and the movies were good enough for me. I dig Megan Fox and Shia Labeouf. Think Mark Walhberg is in the new one.
cobraman Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Love the old Camaro. The new one............not so much.
BKcustoms Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Love the old Camaro. The new one............not so much. Exactly what I was going to say, the newer one just looks strange to me.

Rob Hall Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Bumblebee refers to the Transformer character, not associated with stripes - Chrysler or insect. He, or it, had racing stripes in one incarnation. Yes, and if IIRC in the '80s cartoon Bumblebee was a VW Beetle...
Skydime Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 (edited) Yes, and if IIRC in the '80s cartoon Bumblebee was a VW Beetle... Indeed. However, I can't remember if he turned into a Camaro in this one due to the contract with General Motors or licensing issues in getting VW to allow the Beetle ended up in the Camaro deal. And everyone keep in mind, this is the 2014 CONCEPT not the street car...which looks, and moves a lot smoother. Just like the first movie having a Saleen built (Yes, you read that right) GTO with a Camaro body and interior placed over it. Edited November 30, 2013 by Skydime
Austin T Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 What is this one? The sixth transformers? I really stopped caring after the 2nd movie.

Eshaver Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I dunno, perhaps I'm too senile , old or whatever . The 1st generation Camaro is fine to me . The rest look like giant wedges of cheese , maybe chunks of clay waiting to be finished by artists who know form ..............................
JM485 Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Please tell me that isn't the new Camaro. Is there a vomiting emoticon on this site, because we might need one if that is it.
Rob Hall Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Please tell me that isn't the new Camaro. Is there a vomiting emoticon on this site, because we might need one if that is it. No, just something custom made for the movie.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 These body style vehicles lend themselves really well to futuristic subject matter. Thanks for sharing.
Harry P. Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Please tell me that isn't the new Camaro. Is there a vomiting emoticon on this site, because we might need one if that is it. I like it better than the real Camaro!
