peekay Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 As far as I know never done as a 1.24th kit so this was the next best thing. It's from Mondo in Italy and very nicely done, specially considering the price. Shape and details look spot on to me and the colours are accurate too. I haven't altered anything here, didn't see the need.
Chillyb1 Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 This is number one on my wish list for 1/24 scale kits. I dream of Tamiya offering one, but I'm not holding my breath.

Amazing to think that this car dates from from 1957 and replaced the Traction Avante, which still had 30s style fenders and grille.
Tom Geiger Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 that always was a radical design! I remember being in Paris as a kid, around 1968 and riding in one of those as a Taxi. I was impressed that the steering wheel had one single spoke! I'd like to have one in 1/24 scale!
Harry P. Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 That's a beauty. The only thing I might add is a radio antenna, and possibly a black wash on the wheels and the C pillar trim.
Greg Cullinan Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Ever since Scarface I've liked these. Nice job.
Rob Hall Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Sweet...I'd love to see 1/24th scale kits of the DS and SM.

The chromed rear end should look like the cabriolet's but with the rear lights from the 4-door.
