As far as I know never done as a 1.24th kit so this was the next best thing. It's from Mondo in Italy and very nicely done, specially considering the price. Shape and details look spot on to me and the colours are accurate too. I haven't altered anything here, didn't see the need.

You and me both! Amazing to think that this car dates from from 1957 and replaced the Traction Avante, which still had 30s style fenders and grille.

that always was a radical design! I remember being in Paris as a kid, around 1968 and riding in one of those as a Taxi. I was impressed that the steering wheel had one single spoke!

That's a beauty. The only thing I might add is a radio antenna, and possibly a black wash on the wheels and the C pillar trim.

and Welly has a die-cast early DS cabriolet in 1/24 scale (as a compagnon to the limousine):

The windscreen looks a little bit chopped and too flat but otherwise the model is quite nice for € 12,95:

For a non-Italian version of the limo you would have to rework the rear chrome trim - only in Italy it looked that way - was necessary for their square license plates.

The chromed rear end should look like the cabriolet's but with the rear lights from the 4-door.
