Well i been out of model building for a while now but decided i needed a winter project for when i cant work on my 1:1 scale :-) so i picked this up

how did you get that "off" white for the fan? that is spot on

i have owned 85' and 86' gts i was amazed and mezmorized by the "plastic" fan on a v8 engine

I just mixed a little brown and yellow with white i dont really remember exactly.it actually took a couple times to get the color how i liked it lol

Got the int. Dry fitted. Im pretty happy with it....

Im thinking "army" green with black body side moldings. Lookin for some input on color and rim choice....if anyone got ideas

That looks good so far. It's funny I'm doing the same car for the same reason. Something to get back into it. I'm doing the pd version though. Looks great!

I always like that color on the Lx.I also like the Gt with the Deep Emerald Green with the Titanium trim!

Scalefinishes has the Calypso green available.

Must be a Resin body since no one has come out with an LX hatch. I plan on building a model of my 1:1 91 Calypso Hatch someday

It's a 93 Mustang Cobra Converted to LX specs with a resin front bumper cover and resin rear spoiler, both of my own designs.
