Finished this one up today. A departure from my usual '50-70s cars, but I really enjoyed it. I'm going looking for some more of the '30s classics. I didn't use the whitewalls as this seems to have a lot of fancy chrome anyway and I don't think a Chevy would likely have whitewalls back in the day. Comments welcome, thanks for looking.

Very nice and it looks good in red.

The '32 was my grandfather's first car. My great grandfather had a jewelry store in Jersey City, NJ and all three of his sons left school to apprentice in the trade, and worked there for their entire careers. When my grandfather was young, one day his father pointed out a car that was sitting at the curb in front of the store. It was a '32 Chevy Cabriolet like your model, only yellow with black fenders. He asked my grandfather if he liked the car, and he replied that he did. His father then said, "Good because it's yours!" He had bought him the car. It was a year old and he got a good deal on a repo. I have a picture of my grandparents leaving on their honeymoon behind the wheel of that car. I'll have to build one someday!

VERY nice! First one I've seen without the whitewalls - the model looks SO much better without them.
