Spring ( March-May) forecast? Are you kidding me, those meteorologists are lucky they can be "in the ballpark" and forecast the weather for this coming Wednesday. Give me a break!

I'm not sure why people are so critical of meteorologists to be honest. Forecasts are pretty accurate, and while no forecast will ever be perfect to the exact degree at each hour of the day, I can honestly say I have never been surprised by the weather after reading/seeing/watching a forecast the day before. Granted, I wouldn't put blind faith in May weather based on a prediction in March, but I would hold a meteorologist responsible for being 100% correct, much less that far in advance.

Pretty accurate forecasts, where??? You can watch the weather forecast on three different channels and they'll ALL be different. You can then check the forecast in your daily newspaper and that will be different too. Must be a LOT different where you live.

More snow this morning, and more snow tomorrow morning as well. It's gettin' to be a habit lately. Spring will be here in two weeks, yay! At least on the calendar it will be. LOL!

Yep, I was out this morning shoveling. Again. On March 4th.

Sheesh...

And we still have a couple of feet of snow on the ground! Not much has melted away, it's been so cold here.

I think and I hope that we're in the "home stretch" Harry, and we'll get through this winter yet. It's worked every winter so far. LOL!

Google 1816. "The year without summer".

Looking out my window this morning, I see the snow that was promised to us. After a couple of cups of coffee, I guess I'll "suit up" and go play in it "again." Maybe I'll find my morning paper buried under the snow as well.

Another 4 inches due today. On top of the 2-4 inches we got the other day. Snowing as I type this.

It's March 5...

I wonder if they'll have to plow the field when the Sox and Cubs play their home openers?

That almost sounds like a journal entry from the "Donner Party" :o

I just love it when I'm done shoveling and plowing and put everything away, and as soon as I get into the house, the village plow comes by and dumps some more snow on the apron of my driveway. Lots MORE snow. It's almost a "given" every time I go out there.

They are calling for 42 here tomorrow . :)

We have set a new record for snow in the Toledo area for a winter. Spring will get here, Maybe.

I'm trusting Nick, and he says spring is on the way.

Oh man... I couldn't agree more. It happens all the time! Seems like the plow driver somehow knows exactly when I finish shoveling out the driveway apron... and he comes by about five minutes later and in one quick drive-by undoes all of my work...

HEY!!!!

It reached 47* today!! And it's gonna be 52* on Monday!!! Spring is here, I think.....I think I'm getting weepy. :D

It's just a teaser, look at the end of next weeks forecast. (still better than what we've had)

A good friend and co worker just resigned to take a position with the Village of Gilbert, Illinois. I reminded him of the current weather situation back there and all he said was the job was way too good to pass up. His wife was already back in Illinois.

Truth be told, once he takes over and determines if he needs an asistant, I'll go back there in a hot minute. He already offered me the spot if the budget allows.

So yesterday I do not know how warm it was here as I was up in Detroit for the Autorama . I know it was warm some snow melted in the driveway. I woke to the weather guy on the TV saying the rain has stopped and the snow will be falling soon. As I type this it is snowing yet again.:D Nothing left to do but smile.
