Mopar - D Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Just about done with the trailer still need to put the trailer lights on the back and continue to work on the dragster going to paint the body tonight for it (white) here's the trailer hooked up.
dragcarz Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 I love this, several years ago , some friends of mine built a AA/ FA and towed it to the track on an open trailer with their 68 Polara wagon with wood grain on the sides. So Cool !
Bochum Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 That's beautiful, you're making me want to get in and drive off with it.
Del Austin Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Looks great. Good choice on ditching the enclosed trailer. Looked a bot big and high buck for the look of the wagon and digger.
Bowtienutz Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 I really like your build sometimes the resin stuff you buy on ebay is so IFFY you want to throw it away, cancel your paypal account and confess to your wife all your sins and misgiving
Mopar - D Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 Vince I know what you mean so far I've had good luck I've only had one resin body that was miss formed but I was on the hood that I was planing to open up and was able to order just the hood so it worked out ok. Some of the resin body's get pretty thick and have to be thinned. Thanks for the complement's I have spent a lot of hours searching and looking at the old dragsters pictures to pick up the details. Also the comment here on the post.
Mopar - D Posted February 16, 2014 Author Posted February 16, 2014 Little more progress with a test fit of the body in place and added the trailer lights.
Mopar - D Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 Little more progress today. Just a couple more items to install and I think it will be done. I'm thinking of adding some spare tires and fuel cans on the trailer.
Mopar - D Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 I'm calling this one finished now I may workout on the dragster a little more as the front will not closed. Thanks for following along with me on this build. I'm going to ost more pictures in under glass.
