I painted it Tamiya Royal Blue, no clear and no polishing. The light wood tone was brush painted with Italeri Acrylic flat skin tone warm tint. The darker inserts were provided by decals. The interior was done with dark burgundy seats, black carpet and 2 tone wood door panels that match the outside wood trim. This is a well engineered kit, Love it!!! This is a fun kit to build. The engine is not a flat head though. But I only build curbsides, so it didn't matter to me. Thanks guys. I can't get it that shiny even with clear, let alone without it! Didn't know about the mill, glad I have a couple extra flatties laying around.
