Volvoman Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Hi folks, here are a few pictures of my last build of 2013, my Suzuki Samurai/SJ410. Painted in Suzuki Silky silver spray, this Fujimi kit was basically built box stock;however I did raise the suspension slightly and added tyre valves on the wheels. I also added some scratchbuilt mudflaps along with some KFS numberplates and a set of Kens Kustom dice. Thanks for looking guys and a happy new year to you all!!
Volvoman Posted December 31, 2013 Author Posted December 31, 2013 Thanks for your comments, Slusher, I wouldn't fancy a real one as they did have a tendancy to topple over when cornered hard as they were rather unstable. I know this first hand because a friend of mine rolled his and totalled it a number of years ago...
Tom Geiger Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 (edited) Very nice! That kit is also great to build, pretty much falls together. I built one with my daughter many years ago to match my 1:1 Geo Tracker. Edited December 31, 2013 by Tom Geiger
Lovefordgalaxie Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Came out nice!! Love those little Suzukis. My friend Leo has one with the steel top, and it's a very fun little car to drive. The only small 4WD that can go where the Lada Niva can.
Guest Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 That's a cool little Suzuki Mark! I would really like to score one of those kits sometime.
hjracing Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Cool build! I have one that I'll build in a future, 'couse I love those little, versatile, off road mules!
Davewilly Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Very nice...I also have built one when the kit first came out...I have my eyes out for another one. They are cool little 4x4's
Tom Geiger Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 The only small 4WD that can go where the Lada Niva can. We never got Lada products in the USA. I do know what a Niva is, I have a brochure from Europe. I think Canada may have gotten some Ladas.
Chris White Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Yeah we got the lovely LADAS. I prefer to remember them, than to relive them
