I believe I commented previously, but this model deserves an encore: Beautiful. Great concept, great execution.

Thanks very much. She was three years in the completion and will see her first competition on May 3rd. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

I have no idea what the Carrera Panamericana is but that is one cool looking model! I especially like the work you did with the hood/scoop.

Well the Carrera is a border to border rally race the length of Mexico, originally run from '50 to '54 but was cancelled after the death toll garnered too much bad publicity. No safety equipment back then. It was restarted in '88 and only cars of the original time period are allowed, but drivetrains break the cars into different classes. To date, the Leowy Studes are the winning-est cars on CP history. Check out the stats at the bottom of this Wiki page.

Thanks very much guys, I appreciate the ata-boys. The hood is one of my favorite parts too. It's crazy how "at home" the scope looks there.
