DPNM Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Some really nice work done here. My vote goes to: Bruce Wayne #10---1/24--- Mercedes Benz W196
Jairus Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Thank you guys, but we need at least 25 votes to close this poll. Please tell your friends to check it out and vote. First race of three is TONIGHT, Thursday the 16th. I'll post the results... and I hope they don't effect the voting after.
Gregg Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 This is the kind of story I would love to see in that, cough, cough, ahem, "magazine" we had talked about before. If could come up with about six months of these, I would say it's a go Still think about it all the time.
Gregg Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 For me, The Maz, of course. Didn't see who it was by at first. But then, should have known that.
DonW Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 (edited) That's my vote. They are all lovely, I can't help but prefer the ones that are based on the real cars but all are so evocative and priceless! Slightly off the point, I think if they were all real and were to run in the same race it would come down to who's piloting the Mercedes, but I'd still vote for El Chueco! Never seen his 250F referred to as a Maz before! Edited February 20, 2014 by DonW
Danno Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Hey, Jairus! What happened? Who won? How did the polling turn out? I'll post the results...
Jairus Posted February 22, 2014 Author Posted February 22, 2014 Polling is still open Danno so you can do the count if you want. Think I'll wait and be surprised. The update on the race is.... that we held two races. Different winners in each and ... well, if you want to know. You'll have to read the thread yourself. Don't want the race results to effect the Concours polling. Two cars pulled out so we are down to 6 entrants for the last and final race. Now that the snow is gone I'll set a date for another track.
