I was not 100% happy about my last build, the Custom Kustom '57 Ford.

It was like it was too plain looking for a Kustom.

What I did was to build some fender skirts from sheet styrene, and dual antennas from hypodermic needles.

I think the car looks better now, mor "into the mood" so to speak.

What do you guys think??

Now I think I'm gonna stop messing with this Ford before I break it  and start a new build.

I like the skirts. I am 87% through a '57 custom too and keeping it mild - like a lot of the early 60s cars were. I think it's a cool "back yard" custom look.

Tulio, I like it with the skirts, antenna's and spotlights... a set of front spinner hubcaps would fit the look too, but it's fine the way it is.

Welcome to the Darkside Tulio . . . we have cookies,

Scallops , Lancer hubcaps , Lake pipes , Connie Kits , tuck and roll , dual french antennas , lowering blocks...heh heh heh .

Both are nice, but I have never cared much for fender skirts.

I definitely prefer the first version. Though the skirts are well-done I've never seen a set that had that chrome trim along the bottom like that. However, a popular accessory for Foxcraft skirts was a polished stainless "stone shield" at the bottom front corner.

The antennas are way out of scale.
