post-8854-0-84311400-1390154214_thumb.jppost-8854-0-41906700-1390154257_thumb.jphi guy's, i've cut and shut the bonnet so while thats waiting for a file and sand i'll take to the roof. nothing to radical, i took 3mm out of the front pillars, pushed the roof forword, bent the pillers in a bit,then filed the back to suit. now i'll cut down the side of the back window and lean it forword and fill the gap.

Great stuff Jeff. But please excuse me if this is a silly question. I may have missed the idea behind the work, but is the body just out of proportion? Too long maybe? :huh:

post-8854-0-87901300-1390585332_thumb.jppost-8854-0-27612500-1390585365_thumb.jpthanks Guy's, Stump it's not a silly question, i think it's a bit long and skinny. i've seen a few on here and they look really good, but my idea was to make little mods to make it a bit different. so let me know what you think of my next idea. i'm thinking i'll cut from the back to the front guard and add 3-4mm to the back to give the back more depth, a little bit more like a cuda?

Yeah, not having seen a 1:1 to compare, but I always thought these kits looked a tad on the long side? :unsure:

I have an old (original issue street machine version) and the latest Petty car to do one day....I'll follow along here for the ride. B) :)

got the first side filled, i'm trying to do it all with plastic, mainly sprue, then i use filed plastic and liqiud grue as bog.

post-8854-0-07853200-1393439172_thumb.jppost-8854-0-49542100-1393439235_thumb.jphi Guys, and thanks for the comments, things have slowed down a lot, real life getting in the way, Bruce, that is sort of what i'm after you have to really look to see the mods, and that things got plenty. i've got the other side cut and filled now i've got to get the front end and some wheels to finish the gaurds. i got a petty nascar for the engine, so i'll try to get something sorted there

hi Guys, got a little done on #2 started filling the front gaurds and i cut up the petty bonnet to fit, hopefully it will give me some room for a crossram.

i've smooth the firewall and started the tubbs. with a bit of luck i'll get some undercoat on it in a day or two. now the engine.
