I built one WAY back When!!!

Are they worth it--

Depends on the price!!

They ARE rare!!

Chassis is almost Identical to the Little-Red Wagon A-100 Pickup!!

Since the actual Custom van was based on the twin Sister A-100 Van!!

Would I buy one/them

YES If I had the $$.

(As long as they were Not TOO Steep in price!!!!)

I paid about $40 for mine but they had some issues .that is the low end for these kits. I think it's a unique kit worthy of a place in your collection and if you don't like the style you won't have a problem selling them on an auction site . But whatever you do do not try to watch the film of the same name in which the van starred. don't even watch clips you can't unsee it .

I believe it is the Second issue. And the one I also built.

IMC offered it earlier (mid-late 60's), but this is the one you will find

Wonder what happened to the tooling for it.

Why it was not re-issued by LIndberg or Testor's

It looks some old on the box ill try and get pictures.. Ill go back to the flea market next weekend and maybe pick them up. There was also a old 1/20 revell-monogram van

That is More a toy than kit.

Ford, but grill is Decal. I built the "Electronics" Rescue van issue

Van sits on a base with mechanical/electronic parts.

A motor driven Siren, with contacts to make roof lightbar flash.

Engine sounds too.

They also issued it as a Police van, and NFL van

Not sure if all or only some teams were included.

I think their might have been a Soccer Team van and a Pepsi version too

Not very detailed at all!!

Hey Chris, what is the condition of the boxes? There was a vendor at the flea market in Sussex this past summer that had four or five of them but the boxes were all horribly mangled. One of the guys in my club picked one up and I'm kicking myself for not getting one as he suggested it would make a good tow vehicle for the Silhouette!
