Dave42 Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Very cool and impressive. Like the fuel bowl idea and the hood hinge!
Danno Posted February 4, 2014 Author Posted February 4, 2014 Thanks, Dave. Glad you like it! I originally thought I'd turn some clear sprue to make the fuel bowl, but one of those Cameo parking lights just jumped out at me . . . half-way shaped already! I just shaved the pointy tip a little and done.
DrKerry Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Beautiful piece of Ford material there now!!!!
Danno Posted February 5, 2014 Author Posted February 5, 2014 Thanks, Doc! I really appreciate your comment.
DrKerry Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 You're more than welcome Danno, I've got a chassis to a 30 Model A sitting at my in laws place for that "some day" hot rod build. I'd like to build a hot rod coupe out of it... Like I said.....Someday!!??!!??
Tom Geiger Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Be careful Dan! I hear that Terry has one last 'poo pack' tucked away for a special occasion!
Joker Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Stunning work Danno. I believe the Terry "challenge" is going to interfere with your model room Spring cleaning.
LoneWolf15 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 You gonna have my 6? Be there for me with a scoop shovel and a push broom when TJ gets done with me? Danno , Perhaps I can give you a wee bit of an edge .... Stipulate that Mr Jessee must use the airbrush method that he just can't seem to wrap his head around .... He'll know what you're talking about ! Lmao ! Not that it's difficult , mind you , he's afraid to try it ! By the way , with this type of talent and workmanship ? You need to get up off your duff and start building far more often !
Danno Posted February 5, 2014 Author Posted February 5, 2014 Tom, James, Donn, Thanks for your kind words and encouragement! I may have a 'poo pack' for Mr. Jessee up my sleeve me ownselfs. Donn, I think he's planning to play it safe . . . and use a paint roller. Should be fun regardless.
