The Junkman Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 The big winter toy show in Nurnburg started on Thursday. Here's a preliminary list of announcements-autos under the "Ziviles" listing. Not much for us to get excited about. Mostly stuff we already knew about and re-releases. I know the plane and armor modelers are stoked. http://www.ipmsdeutschland.de/Ausstellungen/Nuernberg2014/Nuernberg_2014.html Here's a photo gallery http://www.ipmsdeutschland.de/Ausstellungen/Nuernberg2014/Bilder_VH/Bilder_VH.html
Brett Barrow Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) I hadn't heard of Revell Germany's La Ferrari yet. Sure that'll wind up in a Revell US box as a nice alternative for those who can't shell out the coin for the Tamiya kit. The Trabant wagon looks really cool, i might have to snag one of those. They also don't list Tamiya's new 1/12 scale Ducati 1199 Panagale S. Edited January 30, 2014 by Brett Barrow

They also don't list Tamiya's new 1/12 scale Ducati 1199 Panagale S. Well if you were to look at that list you'd believe that the only two companies in Nuremberg were Airfix and Revell AG... The AG LaFerrari was discussed in the thread about their 2014 releases last month.
Jon Cole Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I didn't see a scale for these two of four kits shown at the bottom of the page: QUICK BUILD Bugatti Veyron QUICK BUILD Lamborghini Aventador Possible first Veyron in scale?
Brett Barrow Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) I doubt they'll be to a proper scale. The Quick Build series from Airfix are made like Lego blocks except the outside surfaces make a smooth shape when assembled. They're pretty neat models, but definitely in the toy category. If it is to scale it'll probably be 1/32nd. edit - just did the math based on the dimensions given at Airfix' site, turns out they're both right around 24th scale. Hmmmm..... http://www.airfix.com/shop/quick-build/j6008-quick-build-bugatti-veyron/ http://www.airfix.com/shop/quick-build/j6007-quick-build-lamborghini-aventador/ Edited January 30, 2014 by Brett Barrow
Scott - Elm City Hobbies Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Think this one is a game changer
jaydar Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Heller showed some 1/8 motorcycles, including a Honda 750 single cam with four into four exhaust. Joe.

Brett Barrow Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Looks like no on the Tricolore decals (at least Tamiya isn't showing it with them). Since it's Tamiya, and they don't announce stuff until it's ready, I'd say it'll be out within the next month or two.
jaydar Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Thanks Brett. If the Tricolore is not a decal option maybe there will be another version released with them. It looks like i will have to buy one and hold on to it to see!!! Joe.
Chuck Most Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Think this one is a game changer This one completely came out of left field for me, but I'm totally pumped about it! I'm also liking the idea of a Veyron in kit form.
