Steve Prideaux Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Dave, Great build. What paint did you use for the gold ? Nice job. Steve Prideaux
Terminator-Fox Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Very nicely done. Such a great looking car.
Dave42 Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 (edited) Thanks guys, I appreciate your compliments! Steve Prideaux, I used Testors Model Master Gold. (Enamel) Thanks again! Edited February 2, 2014 by Dave42
twopaws Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 A very realistic recreation of a real crowd favorite.
geetee66 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Krisp and kool! Very tidy work. I noticed you cut into the decals for the shut lines on the doors. Some people forget to do this, but as your build proves, it makes it much more convincing.
Dave42 Posted February 5, 2014 Author Posted February 5, 2014 Wow, thank you all very much for your great compliments! It means a lot coming from everyone of you. I do realize now having looked at these pics a thousand times, that I didn't finish the lower rear lights, lower front lights, or foil the trim around the rear vents. (although the pic of the car on the box shows it with glass where the vents are, I left the vents in, so I will trim them out) I will finish all of that stuff! Thanks again, I felt good about this build, but you guys made me feel great about it.
High octane Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Nice lookin' job on that Mustang and I wish I would've kept my kit instead of selling it, as I'm looin' for an injector manifold for a big block Ford engine.
