fantacmet Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 This is a Verlinden Figure I modified to hold a letter. The story this figure tells is obvious. Unfortunately this little gem was in my truck a couple years ago when I was going to be taking it in for display, when it was stolen on Christmas morning and this came up missing.
Jim B Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Looks pretty good. Is that 1/35? Too bad it got stolen.
cobraman Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 It's a shame some low life took it. It was very nice.
1930fordpickup Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Very touching build. It is sad about the lowlife that took this.
fantacmet Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 Yeah I lost ALOT of stuff in that truck. This was my first figure model. Whole truck was stolen, got it back minus half the interior. Minus this model and a couple of others. Minus the controller for my Traxxas Summit, Minus my HPI Savage XS Flux with upgrades, and minus my custom fabricated VERY expensive Scale RC Crawler, which I had only for about a week and a half. Minus my stereo system as well which consisted of a 1000 Watt Kenwood bridgeable monoblock, capable of 1 ohm loads, and my JL Audio W3V2 sub inside the sub zero serpentine wide rectangular port box. The really sad part about it, it was an old man who took the rig, in his 80's, AND he was a Veteran of WWI, Korea, and Vietnam.
