Nailed it! Yes, I remember some of them being rough, but there where some really nice ones in the crowd as well! At least out in Southern California!

This is my favorite build style for muscle cars. This is how they looked when I was a kid. This is a fantastic build everything about it is perfect. How did you do the lettering on the tires?

I like my models to be shiny, that's why it looks too nice :lol:

About the stance, I only used the drag car rear suspension from the kit.

The lettering on the tires are decals.

The wheels are from Competition Resins and I also used a pair of M/T hemi valve covers from them, M/T valve covers were very popular at the time...

If you don't mind where did you source the slots and tires?

Nice! I'm building one like that, that I had when I was younger. It had Ansen wheels, but it was a medium metallic green '68. Yours looks great, I just hope mine comes out as nice!
