JimmyTee Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 (edited) Been here on and off for the better part of a year; just scoping things out. I love building and researching race cars, and now Dave Thibodeau (via his article in SAE a while back) has got me all excited to build some Trans Am stuff. In case you haven't seen the article, I suggest you try to find it. I thought the work he did on the RM Challenger was amazing; and the article contained names of suppliers I had never heard of before. So now I am collecting stuff to do the build, and I am looking forward to it. Promise I will post some pics (once I get going). I Be well all, Jim P.S. I am fortunate enough to be in Dade City FL. through most winters. Any suggestions on shops around the area? Edited February 28, 2014 by JimmyTee

1930fordpickup Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Welcome aboard. You may be the first one to build under water.
Modlbldr Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Are we talking vintage Trans Am racing? If so, count me in. I have a 67 Camaro and a 70 Mustang that I want to do. I'm interested in finding that article. Welcome Jim. Later-
Greg Cullinan Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Welcome Jim. I did the same, lots of good research here.
