mr moto Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 OMG! Look at the purple plastic! You know it's from the psych-O-delic era. That's a really cool project. It looks like a factory concept vehicle. I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing your progress.
W-Machine Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Are the rear doors going to be hinged at the rear, "suicide"-style?
ViperDave Posted December 18, 2007 Author Posted December 18, 2007 Are the rear doors going to be hinged at the rear, "suicide"-style? No. I will scribe new door lines to even up the doors and I will cut out the door handles and repossision them forward and take the other handles off the other body and put them on the rear door. What I am looking for is a stock looking Hemi Cuda that is what it would have looked like if Plymouth used the Cuda styling on thier full size cars. I have also redone the interior so the rear seat is forward a little bit and the package shelf is longer. The rear will have more leg room too.</B> Dave
ViperDave Posted December 19, 2007 Author Posted December 19, 2007 interesting project. length looks quite well It is 1 inch longer than stock. 5/8 inch in the middle and 3/8 on the truck. It is the same length as the 70 Ford but it is 24th instead of 25 scale so in real life it would be a little shorter. I want it to look like what a full size Plymouth would have looked like if they used the Cuda styling. thanks Dave
