Guest Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Do you mean you will build factory stock or out of the box? A factory stock build will require major changes.
cobraman Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 I really like those AWB models. Easy to build and look good when finished. Great pick up for 5 bucks.

robs4516 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 not to sure on paint job mint green thats a thot will see My paint comment was an attempt at a joke, referring to the movie My Cousin Vinny. Which is a good movie, by the way.
dragzz Posted March 8, 2014 Author Posted March 8, 2014 i might try to mix some paint to see what i come up with u never know right
george 53 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 You CAN convert it back to stock wheelbase. It's not that hard. You can mod the AWB interior back to a stock WB also. The hardest part will be finding a STOCK dashboard! I got lucky an one of the guys here helped me out. The rear tailights are different on the AWB body than what this car has. This was I believe a Tempest, while the AWB body is a LeMans. This one you've shown us Has the twin "Over/under' style. The AWB 's body has horizontal lights about even with the lower of the two over under lights.
ChrisBcritter Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 (edited) The Modelhaus has the stock dashboard for three bucks. The stock wheelbase is 112"; my '63 convertible promo's wheelbase measures out to 4 15/32", which is 111.71875". Close enough for me! It'd be nice to see some photoetched grilles for this car. Edit: Let's do a head-to-head comparison: You'd have to move the wheelwells back 3/4" to match the 112" wheelbase, but the wheel openings aren't stock. Edited March 9, 2014 by ChrisBcritter
