Hello everyone,

As the title says, I'm new here. I'm not new to model building though! I've been model building for close to 2 years now. I started when I was 15, and I'm now 17. :) I'm mostly a "Box Stock" builder, though I have been working on one kit that I'm going to make the trunk for.

Some of my work so far is...

Dodge Ram VTS, Dodge Charger R/T, Corvette ZR-1, Corvette Stingray, Malibu SS, Baldwin Motion Camaro 427, and a Camaro RS. (I'll upload some pictures at a later time of these kits)

As of right now, I have 13 unbuilt model kits. So Hopefully you all can see some of the kits I build in the future! :)

welcome tucker , it,s good to see a young builder , look forword to seeing some of your work,

I don't see a lot of younger people around Building models online. I know they're around, as I'm friends with a few in real life. But not many online. :(

Maybe I can get them to join the Forum, so you can see their work as well. :)

Thanks for the comment.

Welcome tucker, its great to see younger people taking up this very addictive hobby instead of just staring at a computer screen.

Indeed it is. :)

Welcome, Tucker. Always good to see a younger modeler around. There are a fair number here in your age bracket and many of them are excellent builders.

Speaking as someone who used to teach high school- and may be doing it again as a long-term sub for the rest of the school year, it's refreshing to see a high school kid doing something besides playing with a mobile phone or video game.

It gives hope to the world.

Though I do play video games, I'm not glued to a TV screen 24/7. And my phone is just a flip phone. Haha :)

I do agree though, it seems as though my "generation" is becoming more reliant on electronics as a form of happiness, rather than more hands on things. Such as model building! There's more of an "accomplished" feeling in finishing a model kit, than completing a game. But that's just me. :)
