Well here is the last one to be completed for 2007. This is a Dragon model issued in 1996. It is now

O.O.P. It's not up to the Dragon kit standards that out AFV modeler friends enjoy today. The parts

count was very low and there is no white metal or photo-etch parts. A very simple curbside build

and it turns out to be a very nice shelf model. Enjoy! Thanks for looking.

Very nicely done kit. You got to love the Listerine green-blue paint. I built this kit a few years ago. I don't know it you're aware that Quick Skins and Strada Sports have a resin kit of an M3 based off of this car. The Quick Skins used this kit as a donor kit. And then Strada Sports paid Quick Skins to do a full curbside kit of the Red Bull M3. I have done both of these kits and if you like BMW's, they would be good kits to do.

Thanks for the tip Brendon

I just visited Strada Sports and they do not list Quickskins in their product list any more. I try Island Collectibles

and they still list all of the Quickskins products but they are all tagged as Discontinued. Sooooo .. it

just might be that Quickskins is no longer in business. To bad if this is true, I always liked the

Corvette GTP.

Chris,

I emailed Mark from MS Hobbies and he said that Quick Skins is no longer producing kits, but maybe in the future. I'll let you know if I hear anything else. It's a real shame, too, because he made some really nice kits.

Nice build! I do like E36 3er's, they are my favorite 3's. I love the underside weathering and the interior detailing too. Good work!

Nice build...I built this car about 4 or 5 years ago also, after I saw a story on it in RaceCar Engineering. I was not sure at the time because it was a curbside kit. But I agree with you that it built up to a nice shelf model and the colors look great next to other cars on the shelf. Nice build and nice job on the interior and underside. Looks great. Classic example of "less is more sometimes".
