hemi Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Since this kit came out I have seen a ton of them built but to me like the 57 Chevy I can't get enuff of them. I would place this one in the top five for 57 fords, you did a great job on it . Two thumbs up.
Speedfreak Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Great job Drew, looks like it's ready to rumble!
Belugawrx Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Awesome stance!! great looking car Any chassis shots\?
2002p51 Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Any chassis shots\? Funny you should ask. I still need to add the header flange/cap to the headers. But what's funny is that I rarely, and I mean almost never, spend any time on the underside of a model. This one, like all of my models, is going to sit on my shelf and nobody will ever see the chassis again. Because of this I never seem to be willing to do anything more than just add the minimum parts needed to hold the wheels on and then just shoot the whole deal with flat black and be done with it. I don't know what made me want to do more with this model but, trust me, it's pretty unusual!
lillakev Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Beautiful car! I'd love to have a 1:1 of that sitting in my garage.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 " I don't know what made me want to do more with this model but, trust me, it's pretty unusual! " It's a '57 Ford!! Nothing unusual about loving and detailing them, it's only natural
2002p51 Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Beautiful car! I'd love to have a 1:1 of that sitting in my garage. You and me both!
Belugawrx Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Nicely done Glad I asked I've started doing the same!!
the goon Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Great color combo, and great wheel choice. +1. Love '57 Fords. Mark
The Modeling Hermit Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 One better hang on tight at the stoplight in this one.
