Chief Joseph
Hello all, Thanks to everyone who supported me with the 1/24 tires that I've offered for the past couple of years. Now I've made some 1/25 scale tires to specifically address the needs of those slightly smaller model cars: First is item FMR-030, a set of two BFG Drag Radials in 325/50-15 size: I also have two sizes of BFG Radial TA's in 225/60-15 and 275/60-15, each sold in sets of two. I made these tires to represent the "street machine" look on classic musclecar kits such as the new Revell 'Cuda. I am producing these Radial TA's in both hard white resin and flexible black rubber. The hard white resin version can be finished by painting the tire black and then sanding the paint from the raised letters, as in this photo: Ordering information is on my website, http://www.fireballmodels.info. Thanks for looking! Edited October 2, 2014 by Chief Joseph

futurattraction
I have been working with Joseph on several projects and he is an A-1 person, first of all, and second, he is very detail-oriented and meticulous in his execution, so I would say these tires will be a great addition to his line of products. Chief Joseph
Now for the boring part of aftermarket decision-making: should this gigantic steamroller tire be made available in 1/24 scale or 1/25 scale? How about splitting the difference and making it in 1/24.5 scale? How about both 1/24 AND 1/25?

Mike Chernecki
Nice! I want some. We had those on our 1969 Nova. Will there be two different sets in each scale "50" & "S/S"? Or will different sidewall be printed on each side? Edited October 3, 2014 by Mike Chernecki

Chief Joseph
Man... those indy profiles oughta sell like hot cakes... thats an iconic tire! Any more drag radials coming out soon? 315/35/17? Nothing definitive planned at the moment; I am still concentrating mainly on tires you'd see on 70's and 80's street cars. Nice! I want some. We had those on our 1969 Nova. Will there be two different sets in each scale "50" & "S/S"? Or will different sidewall be printed on each side? Yes, that's exactly what I did: one sidewall reads "50" and the other side reads "S/S" so I basically get two different looks from one part. Having 1/25 and 1/24 versions is bad enough; I can't image having another two separate masters based on different lettering!
