Thanks guys! I had to repaint the grille, as I tried to use a toothpick to scrape the paint off the badging on the grill, and goofed up. Im going to try and get the decal on the air cleaner. I had difficulties with a similar decal on the challenger air cleaner so hopefully it goes better this time.

Got the exhaust, drive shaft and rear end in, only problem is the gap between the manifold and the exhaust pipe. I might an aluminum sleeve out of some spare tubing

Some pictures of the progress (not that there's much of it)

The gap I mentioned earlier. This just won't do.

I also had trouble with the exhaust being warped. I bent it slightly so that it fit alright and didnt hang down too low, but it does touch the drive shaft and left shock. Oh well! Its just a model.

Exhaust being warped may be why your exhaust has the gap. I have moved the manifold back on the engine to eliminate the gap...

Beautiful paint! Great foil work. This will be an excellent rendition when it's done . . . and, its not orange. ^_^

I'm probably just going to wrap some BMF, or some spare aluminum tube around it.

Hopefully planning on putting the mirrors and door handles on today. Depends if i get the interior done. Im pretty nervous as there aren't holes that they pop into so I have to use glue, and im afraid to mess up the paintjob...

For mirrors, wipers, door handles etc I use my pun vise and drill a small hole in the item and the body where it locates and pin everything in with wire or a styrene dowel. I usually glue the dowel into the part. Leave it long then after the glue is dry I stick it to the body. Glue from inside and then trim the dowel off so it does not interfere with anything inside. Voila! No glue on outside paint

I might have to try that!

Your doing a really nice job. Paint, foil, engine details, and interior are all adding up to some sweet eye-candy. What wheels are you using?

I like the "street' wheels but I dont want to pain the low parts flat black, so If I can use the wheels meant for the hemi version, most likely those. If not it will be the stock wheels painted satin black.
