Revell 1/144 scale, aftermarket decals. Finished the build today...and I didn't take WIP pictures!

I have the paper models of the LUT and crawler yet to build to properly display this...in the meantime I did finish the base that came with the kit and the 3 12mm tall people standing on it...will get pictures of that later...

I do plan on getting better pictures and show some of the detail a little closer...this is a tough subject to photograph compared with cars! :)

Nice looking Saturn V. The kit comes with astronauts?

No, just spectators, I guess...civilian garb...no space suits, unfortunately.

Actually, that was the crew that ran under the booster engines with matches to light them. The job paid very well, but the contracts were very short. ;)

That is a nice model. I remember the mission pretty well (I was 11 at the time), and am looking forward to your additional photos.

Those are great pics. I didn't realize that it came with the Lunar Module as well. The figures really give you a sense of how huge the Saturn V really was.

Man this is cool and brings back some great memories! I was 10 when the moon landing mission happened! I built this same kit and used to imagine it flying off to the moon from my nightstand! LOL! All I have left of it now are the assembly instructions. Thanks for the pics!
