ranma Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 a while back I was at a hobby shop that I used to go to weekly (when I lived in that town) And talked to the owner about the Force 440 cop car when we looked on line at a box closely the side view looked like roscoe's cop car but as a two door. So does anyone know if the molds were changed to the 4 dr. or what because I don't think force 440 has ever been reissued.
disabled modeler Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I think the 440 police car kit was made from modified 76 RR kit molds.
Rob Hall Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I think the 440 police car kit was made from modified 76 RR kit molds. Yeah, the '75-76 RR tooling evolved into the '77-78 Monaco 2dr tooling, then the Force 440 version added the police gear. Then later the tooling was modified into the 4dr Monaco for the DOH kit.

62rebel Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 there ought to still be plenty of the Force kits out there.

Danno Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 They are just not cheap. No, but nothing worth having is cheap.
