Superpeterbilt Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Ill be the first to say, Awesome job Alan! These trucks came out great! I think a lot of us will be inspired to add these to our build list as well. As you know, I had started a Boss truck a decade ago and now I want to finish it. Seriously, great job!
kilrathy10 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I must agree with Terry.....You've got my mind working this out, as I've said, before.....This is an awesome project, and I, for one, appreciate you sharing it with us...
towman1271 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 You did an amazing job...You should be very proud of what you built...
alangarber Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) Thanks guys for the kind words and help as well. This is my next project. Evil's Pete ">http:// Edited May 13, 2014 by alangarber
Superpeterbilt Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Ha! No way! Ive seen his Mack, but I didnt know he had a Pete. Awesome! Cant wait
Old Buckaroo Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Alan, I am happy to have helped you out. Odd how we share the same interest as I had been coveting the idea of Evil's trucks also !
Mr mopar Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Nice work you beat me to it.....lol ,your next build will be a challenge that Peterbilt cabover is a 352H the tell cab.

Force Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) Very nice job indeed Alan, it has been a pleasure following your progress with all your Tyrone Malone builds...and I'm glad I could help you out. I'm looking forward to see how the Evel Knievel Pete comes out...as Doug says it looks to be a 110 inch double bunk tall cab 352H. Edited May 13, 2014 by Force
alangarber Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 Oh could mean trouble. Not sure if I can do that one if it's a double. I didn't want to use a build for the extended cab, but what the heck I guess I can turn one into a day cab.
Force Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) The 352H is also slightly taller than the 352 "Pacemaker". If you look at the pictures in this thread you see what you need to do to do a 352H from a regular 352...no you don't have to open any of the doors but otherwise it's a good guide. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=83936 It will for sure involve some work modifying the cab to a 352H but I'm sure you could do it. alangarber Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 Thanks for the info I remember that post. I guess that project will be put on the back burner until I can get the extra Pete to cut up and the styrene I'll need. I never realized that it was extended or taller. But someday when I get the stuff I need. The FL defiance will be easier at this point as soon as I get the kit and engine.
Superpeterbilt Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Alan, Im sure someone else can confirm, but Im pretty sure that someone resin casted that Pete cab. Im also pretty sure that I saw one on ebay recently. Thatll save a lot of modifying. Ill keep my eyes open.

Mr mopar Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 The only one I know of, was from Bobby Griffin design who made the Peterbilt 352H resin cast cab.
