Hope you get to feeling better Tommy.

Check with the manufacturer of the resin body to see what they recommend for paint removal, it may depend on the type of paint you used.

What happened with the paint job?

We would like to hear about failures too. We all have them, good thing is when they can be repaired.

Hard to explain with my english experience. I got a brand new can from the seller,as i explained to him and from hes

experience, the only conclusion we could find would be the paint to actually be bad,or broken if you will. When the

paint hit the surface it was like some strange reaction of it parting, like if the surface was greasy or wet,but it was

bone dry,primed with Tamiya.

Will throw it in brake fluid tomorrow.

my first Lindberg Color Me Gone kit windshield was cracked right up the middle when i opened the box. very aggravating as the hobby shop i bought it from had a zero return policy. not sure if Lindberg would have sent a new one so i left the car unfinished for a LOOONG time, eventually cannibalising it for parts. grrr.

Had the same with the two I bought...Called Lindberg at that time and they shipped out two replacements within 2 weeks..Can't do it now though as they are owned by someone else...

It`s back from the dead. Used around 4-5 hours the other day to clean it with acrylic thinner, very "nice" smell.

Primed and gave it some coats of the racing white yesterday, and i changed interior color from blue to red.

Tomorrow i`ll get the exhaust and hood painted. Then it`s over to try foil it and do some interior improvement.

Still have to run the heater hoses and get the battery and wires in,but this usually is done at the end.

Thanks for the encouraging words along the way,i was tempted to give up a while there lol
